Mary,

You did a good job explaining UDL. Learning isn't a one-size-fits-all idea, and the lessons must be adaptable to all. For example, a visually-impaired student would need lessons to be adapted, whether on paper or computer. Adjusting the font size allows for easier accessibility when creating lessons. However, a blind student would not be able to just enlarge the text but instead might need a braille adapter to read the text. Since one instructional method might not work for everyone, would you be able to use UDL to adapt that one lesson to meet the needs of all, or would you create multiple lessons? Please explain your response.

Mary,

When using a UDL in the classroom with diverse learners, it is important to make sure all students are having their needs met. How would you create a lesson plan with a UDL that would work with a kinetic learner?
