It is vital for nurses to commit to lifelong learning since lifelong learning provides them with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to address problems they might experience while taking care of patients. Notably, lifelong learning provides nurses the opportunities to keep their knowledge updated, learn novel skills, and pursue various interests through intellectual growth and expansion (Caporiccio et al., 2019). In addition, committing to lifelong learning also allows nurses to create robust collaborative connections with patients and coworkers and enhance patient outcomes.
