From the conception of this ideal of change it is imperative that everyone involved remembers that changing the environment of workplace or organization takes time and participation by all parties involved. One approach that I would imply would be the top down approach. The leader must lead by example and effectively explain to employees the goals and reasoning behind the changes. If there is not proper explanation as to the reasoning for the change then resistance could arise from individuals and create a hostile work environment that is no conducive to success. In order for smooth implementation of policies to be effective all parties must agree on their importance and have clear organizational goals established with opinions and concerns accounted for. By knowing the demographic of organization one can use that information to devise a plan on how to adjust/modify their current policies for improvement.

Another important focal point for the environment should be patient safety. Patients come to these facilities when they are at their weakest and it is assumed that the organization will provide exceptional measures to ensure they are safe while seeking treatments. Many facilities claim it is at the forefront of their policies however many medical errors arise and it is imperative that facility follows protocol specifically when providing/prescribing medications. A majority of errors are made from medications being given at the wrong time, medications given that a patient is allergic to or medications given that react with medications the patient has already taken. By having exceptional communication between staffers and working as a cohesive team this risk could be dramatically reduced.
