AACN Essentials
Nursing is a science and art at the same time. Essential I serves to demonstrate that despite the choice of diverse settings, each nurse should adapt the theoretical knowledge to the context of intervention. However, the individual action comes adjunct to specific models of organization and leadership that define the working style and conditions of the system as a whole. From such reason, it is clear that the Essential II responds to the implementation of the patient-care methods and styles in conjunction with analytical implementation of nursing critical thinking, decision-making, and evidence-based. In the practice, the organization and system leadership play an extraordinary role in the effectiveness of the action that establish the proper work system and relationship (AACN, 2018).
Similar relationship appears between other Essential and the Essential IV in order to implement the continual integration of scholarship and knowledge into the practice. The idea behind advanced qualification is to shorten and ease the transition of know techniques, systems, and skills that validate the nursing process (with in fact it takes more than considerable years to generalize nursing advance practices), then, as an MSN, it should be a prevalence in pursuing the application of nursing research and the dissemination of those qualitative/quantitative changes (Tappen, 2016). Moreover, the current “stage of art” should combine the technological advances as the Essential V entails. As nurses, we should advocate not only for the prevalence of patient´s interest and needs, but also for the access to high-tech and specialized medium that reduces or minimize the patient´s experiences while promotes the transition along the disease.
As the Essential VI introduces, the MSN provides the resources to understand and analyze critically what strategies should be aspired to fulfill with the enhance the actual process system. The practical action arises from the proposed of theories that represent the adherence of nowadays health status of the society. Theory and research may be introduced with the intention of describing, explaining, or predicting the phenomena of diseases, pathologies, or health conditions while seeking for relationship and the design of interventions and measures (Tappen, 2016). In additions, a theory endorses the paradigm of variables under the assumption that any nursing premise emerge through the necessary combination of qualitative and quantitative variables in the construction of the interdisciplinary system of methods and clinical expertise.

Following the nine essentials required for the master’s is essential in order for successful, long-term involvement with research and practical-based programs. The mastery of all nine essentials is imperative in this career, since nursing practice is a field where cutting corners or being unable to empathetically treat a patient is simply impossible. Being able to influence healthcare decisions is a powerful responsibility, and one that has to meet certain criteria. All nine essentials are necessary in order to actualize mastery of nursing; one extremely important one is Essential III, or Quality Improvement and Safety (AACN, 2010).
Being able to “articulate methods, tools, performance measures, and standards” is an innate part of being a successful nurse; this also includes the ability to “apply quality principles” within an organization, meaning that if for whatever reason the organization you are working within is not able to provide certain measures of quality, it is then in fact your responsibility to do so. Failure to do this would mean completely disregarding the quality of care in that situation. Being intimately knowledgeable regarding the tools and methods used is also a necessity in order to provide quality care and be also integrate certain services within the organization; the ability to be innovative in this way helps improve quality outcomes for both the organization and the individual(s) receiving care. Overall mastery of this essential, along with the other eight essentials is essential to continue creating a quality care environment and practicing lifelong learning to better one’s ability to provide that same care.

The AACN Essentials are the agreed upon and standardized core courses in nursing theory, research, leadership, professional role development, health policy and nursing informatics that are expected to be mastered and then built upon in order to master and achieve Master’s level program outcomes (AACN, 2016). Overall, most Master’s level programs include expected outcomes include the attainment of a diverse set of skills, knowledge, and abilities that allow the MSN graduate nurse to act as a leader, mentor and collaborator through the integration of quality-care and positive outcomes that are realized through critical thinking and decision making, and professional accountability of which sound evidence for practice is the foundation.
The theory and design phase of a research have importance for providing descriptions of how to support patients' health and well-being articulation of the discipline of nursing, for the articulation of the discipline of nursing, and for offering a common language for different views and philosophical underpinnings in nursing (Wedberg, 2016). The purpose of knowledge-building in nursing is to provide a substantial knowledge basis for the discipline of nursing.
In the ER setting, scientific knowledge is applied every day. It involves systematic development from different frameworks involving facts and what you know from previous practice. Basic research in the ER involves taking into account the problems concerning health issues of the patients. The scientific knowledge is of importance for how the conception of health is applied in this setting and all other settings (Nordenfeit, 2012). This knowledge base involves what we consider nursing and what is good nursing. The view of what good nursing and a good caregiver is can be the basis of policies and guidelines for nursing practice.

The Essentials of master's education in nursing have offered a clear and concise framework for nursing programs. It provides graduates with inventive and advanced roles that arise from health transformation and modifications in a changing and international healthcare system (Hartjes, 2018). The administrative and Systems leadership acquired offer exclusive abilities to the graduates and prepare them for the world of medicine in communication, organization, and entrustment of duties to save lives.
To be operative, nurses are encouraged to establish control by introducing and upholding operative working relations using equally deferential communication and teamwork within interprofessional groups. The master-equipped nurse affords and directs wide-ranging care for patients –persons, relatives, groups, and societies–in various and mixed surroundings. Using information from multiple foundations, these nurses circumnavigate the enduring through the healthcare system and adopt quality outcomes (Anderson, et al., 2020). Master's-prepared nurses ensure nurses are well suited in the application of evidence-based preparation. These nurses support to operate in lifetime knowledge to progress care choices, portion as a role model, and an advisor for evidence-based resolution-making. The program should have the abilities essential to bring evidence-based practice to both separate patients for whom they directly care and to those patients for whom they are circuitously answerable.
The legal questions on how nurses should handle such cases are well elucidated, giving nurses the much-required understanding and basics touching on confidentiality, nurse-patient relationship, and other ethical related concerns. Technology being ever-changing is critical in the nursing profession, and nurses should have hands-on experience to improve the quality of the healthcare delivery system. Clinical experiences are offered leading the graduate nurses to be able to master the patient care delivery skills as well as the system calculation and involvement skills which need consideration of structural undercurrents. These involvement involvements give the learner the chance to concentrate on a population of interest and a detailed part.

AACN Essentials of Progressive Care Nursing and AACN Essentials of Critical Care Nursing serve as indispensable references for nurses working in progressive and critical care settings. These books prepare nurses for entry into progressive or critical care nursing and also function as excellent tools for those seeking PCCN and CCRN certifications.
For example, one of this essentials (type IV) offers to us try to integrate best evidence into nursing practice. Integrating EBP into the Nursing curriculum involves more than incorporating content into the study plans. Simultaneous tutor training processes are essential in EBP in nursing schools and in health services. Integrating EBP into the Nursing curriculum necessarily implies the participation of all those involved in the educational process, as well as the design of learning strategies that deliberately, progressively and gradually sustain its permanent application. EBP teachers and students must be committed to excellence in patient care, in developing clinical skills, clinical judgment and reasoning, as well as in developing the diligence and perspective to adopt, adapt, or discard evidence. found according to their clinical expertise and the preferences and values of the patients(Moran;2011).

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is the collective voice for undergraduate and graduate nursing education. This association is in charge of setting quality standards for education in nursing careers, in addition to helping these schools to implement those standards. The AACN also influences the nursing profession to improve health care and promotes public support for professional nursing education, research, and practice.
They understand the basis of evidence-based practice, can and do cooperate with others to analyze potential research problems, and collaborate in research teams. Nurses are prepared by master's programs to be able to evaluate research and its results and in this way implement and develop evidence-based practice guidelines. This program helps us to better exercise and implement our profession as nurses and provide better care to our patients. “The Essentials: Core Competencies for Professional Nursing Education provides a framework for preparing individuals as members of the discipline of nursing, reflecting expectations across the trajectory of nursing education and applied experience.” (AACN,2011).
The AACN as nurses prepares us for the different situations that we have to face throughout our careers. As nurses, we have to be prepared and alert to any situation. That is the function of the AACN Essentials, to provide us with the knowledge and give us the necessary tools to work in a professional environment. Thanks to the AACN we can increase our knowledge, give a better treatment, respond to the needs of the patient, in this way we can better advocate for their health and well-being.
