Persuasive Essay Outline

Hook for the Intro: Renewable energy is crucial to counter global warming, generating energy that doesn’t emit greenhouse gases, reducing air pollution and increasing environmental conservation at large. Therefore, renewable energy is not only economically beneficial but also environmentally friendly.

Background and contextual information:

Renewable energy is produced from sources that can be regenerated in a short amount of time. Renewable fuels are sourced from solar, geothermal and, biomass. For much of human history, renewable energy sources in a long time have been employed to provide heat and power, and more recently, electricity. Renewable energy accounts for 12% of all energy consumption throughout the United States and 11% globally. (Center for Climate and Energy, 2021). Solutions As there is still a considerable reliance on fossils for heating and energy, the 1970s oil crises prompted substantial interest in alternate fuels.
