Prompt: This assignment is designed to provide you with the opportunity to express in short, casual prose your religious/spiritual background. By religious/spiritual background, the assignment refers to the following:

· Your country and religion of origin/birth (if your parents were/are religious)

· Your current religious practices/beliefs (if any)

· What these practices (or the lack thereof) mean to you

· Why you do (or do not do) them

Purpose: This assignment affords you the opportunity for serious and critical self-reflection of your religious and spiritual background. It also gives you the opportunity to work on the important skills of self-awareness and clear communication.

Parameters: The writing can be informal, but should be at least 500 words and submitted in a Word document.
