Purpose of Religious Leadership Paper 

 There are many types of leadership. Each of them emerges from a leadership action that is communicated from the point of view of the leader - i.e., doing what is beneficial for the organization and the people in it. Religious Leadership possess the skills to engage the listener, gain commitment, and ultimately create a bond of trust between leader and follower. They also do something more: They drive results, enabling leader and follower to work together more efficiently because they understand the issues and know what has to be done to accomplish their goals.

 

Paper/Assignment Instructions

Write a Religious Leadership paper exploring the religious leadership example (good/bad) of your chosen female/male leader. You would be well advised to devote time researching the leader’s communication skills, effectiveness/ineffectiveness,  background, impact, importance, and leadership style. Take this paper any direction you want (Utilizing religion  components, techniques, principles, theories, and practices must be included in the paper).  For example, what does the literature in any academic discipline have to say about the leaders. Is the communication style of your religious leader one of: Coercion, or Charisma, or Corruption, etc? 

 

Aim: Aim to write between 5 and 7 pages. This is your call. I encourage you to be concise and clear in your writing. Aim for at least 5 academic research paper citations(not including textbook) . Please use 1 1/2 line spacing, 0.5 inch margins, Arial 12-point font. Use APA/MLA in-text citations with a reference page. Title page, abstract, and reference page are not apart of page count.
