How does Paul's description of himself as a true apostle relate to his request for money for the poor from the Corinthians?

Paul states he has suffered many times over 2 Corinthians 11:24-25 says "Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea." He relates his suffering to the Corinthians so they will not will not have to physically suffer and can still help the poor by comparing the two he is able to convince the Corinthians to give to the poor.

Q2.HOW does Paul description about himself as a true apostle related to his request for money for the poor from the Corinthians?

In 2 Corinthians 8:7-15, Paul asked the Corinthian church for money for the Jerusalem church. The Jerusalem church was in greater need without forgetting that the Corinthian church was also a product of giving. It was, therefore, time for the Corinthians to share their blessings. Paul was able to embrace hardships and weaknesses for the power of Christ to dwell in him (2cor 12:9-10). According to Paul, Gods power is made perfect in weaknesses. A true apostle should endure hardships to be in a situation of helping others overcome similar misfortunes. The apostle went ahead to even boost about his suffering. Paul uses the church of Macedonia. In severe poverty, it selflessly funded the church "for the holy ones," which aids the ministry of Jesus by helping true apostles. For the church of Macedonia, abundance and joy followed after that. He continued to state that when we give, it is not meant for us to suffer, but it brings about equality (2Cor 8:13-14). The sincerity of one's love is compared with the earnestness of others. Our Lord Jesus Christ though he was rich, became poor for our sake (2Cor 8:8-9).
