The regression analysis tests the strength and significance of the model, as well as the relationships between the independent and dependent variables. In this analysis, the dependent variable is delinquency and the independent variables are friends delinquency, family disruption, school suspension, and parent concern. The findings show the model is weak (R2=.232) and significant (F=35.058; p=.000). In addition, the findings show friends delinquency has the most effect on delinquency (β=.426; p=.000), followed by school suspension (β=.139; p=.001) and then family disruption (β=.084; p=.043). Consistent with the correlation findings, parent concern is not statistically significant in this model.
