After reviewing the course objectives, I have come to point that clinical practice guidelines consist of recommendations that intend to optimize patient care and these are being informed by the systematic review of the patients. These guidelines provide assessment of advantages and disadvantages of treatments. As these guidelines provide framework for taking clinical decisions and for supporting best practices so being an AGACNP it will help me to apply my practical knowledge and to take better clinical decisions. Before starting any sort of treatment, I can review the evidence of treatment and can also assess the benefits and harmful effects of patient. Based on the knowledge of clinical guidelines, I can also take several initiatives for the improvement in patient’s condition thus it will help me to develop patient-centered care plan (Jun, et al., 2016). The clinical objectives of clinical practice guidelines are: To synthesize and translate evidence into recommendations To optimize patient outcomes To standardize care(Jun, et al., 2016)

There are a lot of course objectives of clinical practice guidelines but I have found the above listed the most important course objectives. By following the first course objective, I will utilize evidence and will go for complete research before making any sort of recommendation (Bush, et al., 2017). The second course objective states, to optimize patient outcomes. It is necessary to think about the results of treatment that we are providing to our patients (Bush, et al., 2017). The main objective of treatment is to completely cure the patient and to improve his health condition. So, before applying any sort of treatment I will compare the results of treatment with the patient health outcomes. The third course objective states, to standardize the patient care as patient care is the most important element while providing treatment to the patient. I can improve the quality of my healthcare services and can better interact with the patients following this objective in my practice (Bush, et al., 2017).
