My main duties and responsibility as an intern are sending emails from the medical providers, and I also distribute the immunization record to the Registry. The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic led to the expansion of the duties as I started even assisting the ICARE staff with the enrollment of the new users in ICARE. I facilitated the access of ICARE, which played a big role. I also attended a meeting on Logic Model and performance measures which helped me gain knowledge on program assessment and execution that I gained in the classroom. This Logic model involved outlining the connection between the program’s information, exercises, and also targeted outcome.
The Illinois department is spreading the knowledge regarding the medical problems that entangled the minority networks at a substantially higher rate than others. In Illinois, racial and ethnics minorities make up 39% of the state population. Despite the ethics minority making up to a low percentage, they share the high paces of sickness such as HIV, coronary illness, and diabetes. Despite having a brighter future in the field mortality rate in many Americans, the minority still felt limited regarding the future. The Illinois Department was being objective and joining the various forces to improve the heart's wellbeing by dispatching new faith-based Million heart during a special day of American Heart Month. Another core source of death among Americans was cardiovascular sickness. There have been various overseeing strategies that involved having a sound decision regarding the various illnesses of the heart. Therefore, they tend to offer heart instructions and tips for bringing the daggers of disease. The main aim of the heart mindful was to be in a position of enrolling up to 50- religious association states to help curb cardiovascular failure and strokes. We were able to give various vaccines such as Johnson and Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer. This knowledge enabled me to learn the faith-based community events as I created awareness on promoting health to the community. The provider wanted to get the Covid-19 vaccine. Through this internship, I am able to gain a lot of knowledge about the various types of vaccines, the various vaccination program, and the vaccination of the children.
Throughout the internship, I am able to learn more about the month's specification health events. The meeting that I attended helped me know the importance of April as it is recognized as a notational autism awareness month. The month tries to bring people with mental health to light. They are offered knowledge and advances to show them they can achieve their dreams in life. There is a public minority month that helps to give an influence on the racial and ethnic minorities. This internship enabled me to take part in the survey that the Center of diseases offered. Overall, the training helped me gain communication skills by talking with the patients and the audience in various fields of health. It imparted to me the leadership skills that helped maintain a high level of professionalism. The covid-19 led to new work due to the increased number of patients who collaborated with the staff members and ensured all my tasks were done on time.
My work plan for the next 50 hours contact will help process the emails, distribute the various records of the immunization, and ensure that the vaccination practices are forgoing. I will also ensure that that the patients receive the required nursing services. I will provide the knowledge that I gained in the classroom is fully utilized in this internship process. I will also work on coverage level reports for COVID-19 vaccines. I will also be comparing the vaccine allocation and administration in the various states.
