Implementation and operational support

The staff of the organization is guided day by day by the operational plan. An operational plan is a basic tool that all the staff members within an organization should be aware of. In addition, they should be aware of the purpose of the operational plan and also its importance to them.

The top management of the operational plan should clearly communicate the operational plan to the other members of the staff and they should ensure that they understand everything related to the project.

There are various strategies that the management can use to communicate the operational plan to the staff and some of them include the following;

· A series of team meetings where the senior management describes the facts about the project to be implemented and also addressing the various questions that may arise from the staff.

· Overall operational breakdown plan into subsets to the work team or responsible sections. This will make the team more focused on the implementation of the plan.

· The system of progress which will oversee and measure the strategies and reported within a work team and to the management.

· Training is also necessary to ensure that the staff may better understand their tasks and responsibilities and how they can make their contribution to the overall achievement of the operational plan.

The implementation of the operational plan requires that the project is monitored regularly and control the plan to divert from meeting its intended goals.

The management control of the project will include;

· Checking on a regular basis on what has been achieved and what has not been achieved.

· Implementing correction action where necessary to ensure that the intended goal is achieved on time.

· Ensuring that all the required resources are always available.

· Motivating the staff to ensure that they do their best in implementing the plan.

· Making the necessary adjustments when there is a need.

· Seeking advice from the superiors whenever it is necessary.

Confidentiality, Integrity, and the Availability aspects of your MAP project.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality means the protection of the information from disclosure to the parties that are unauthorized. Every organization has an information that it would wish to keep secret. This is because the value that information has in the world today.

Encryption is a key component that would be used in protecting the information. It ensures that only authorized people will be able to read the information. Currently, encryption is spread all over the world and it can be found in every major protocol in use. SSL/TLS are the common examples of the security protocol for the communications over the internet.

Integrity

Integrity refers to the protection of the information to protect it from being modified by unauthorized people.

When the information is correct, it is the only time that it has value. It could be very costly for the information that is tampered. The method that is used to maintain data integrity is cryptography. There are various methods that are employed to ensure data integrity and they include; hashing the data received and do a comparison of it with the hash of the original information. However, the hash of the original data must be provided in a secure manner.

Availability

Availability of the information means that the information is accessible to the available information by the authorized parties.

The information is only valued if it can be available to the individuals who should use it. In the current, denial of access to information is very common. DDoS has been taking down high profile websites. The major aim of the DDoS is a denial of the users to access the information on the website for use.

Data backup is very important. Doing offsite backup can minimize the risk of losing all the information which can be caused by the damage of hard disk or natural disasters.
