Literature Review

Non-motorized transportation in Venice, Austria.

You will review the literature on the transportation issue that you are investigating. You will deliver a critical analysis of what we know about the problem and the policies that countries or cities are implementing to support sustainable and just transportation practices. Please submit a 1000-word reflection paper, which must be delivered the day before the class. A good literature review examines what you learned from the literature, explains the authors' contributions to sustainable cities and transportation planning, and reflects on what is missing and potential avenues for research and policy action. A good literature review also explains how literature informs your understanding and the analysis of your case study project.
