3. Proceed to write your reflection paper.

Prompt: Write a two-page essay in response to the following: In our lives there are times when our desires are “authentic” that is the desire is true to who we are, following that desire will help us to be the best person we can be. There are also times when our desires are “inauthentic” that is we know or learn through experience that acting on that desire will not help us to be the best person we can be or that it even goes against who we really are.

In a two-page reflection describe an authentic and an inauthentic desire that you have experienced. Discuss how you recognize the difference between authentic and inauthentic desires in your life.
