PSY339 - Reflection Activities

At various points during the term, students will be asked to respond to reflection questions. Reflection responses are expected to be well developed and conceived, and they must clearly convey that the student has significantly pondered the issue. Students are required to submit the response in a Word document with the file name “YourLastName_PSY339_reflection#_.docx” where you will add the reflection number from 1 to 4.

If you were a therapist and a patient from a different cultural background presented to you for treatment, what steps would you take to ensure that you provided culturally sensitive assessment, diagnosis and treatment? Write a brief reflection on this question of no more than 500 words that summarizes your thoughts and reactions.
