First, click on the "Journals A-Z" option in the Libraries tab under Academics. Once on the page, use the search bar at the top to search for journals on your profession. (Note: Use the search bar's autocomplete feature to help you to find an appropriate title or search term.) Then, browse through the journal results, choosing one that particularly interests you, and respond to the questions below.
· What is the title of your journal?
· What drew you to this particular journal?
· Provide a description of the journal (i.e., What is the specific topic of the journal?).
Now browse through the most recent issue, and find a particular article that grabs your attention. (Note: You may need to log in to access the journal; do so using your MDCID and PIN # .Once you have done so, answers the following questions:
· What is the title of the article that you have chosen?
· Who is/are the author(s) of the article?
· What made you choose this particular piece? Do you think that this article (and the journal in general) would be a resource that you would utilize in your future studies and even career? Why or not?
· Lastly, provide a work cited entry for this journal article in MLA format. (Note: Many of the Library's journals have a citation feature already built in; explore the page to see if this option already exists. If not, a free, popular formatting tool is citationmachine.com)
