After reviewing your selected holistic nurse theory/theorist, you will complete a reflection paper using the theory you chose above.  Your reflection should be no longer than two pages.  Respond to the following questions:

1. According to Fawcett (2001), "personal knowing refers to the quality and authenticity of the interpersonal process between each nurse and each [patient]".  In your opinion, how does holistic nursing practice lead to deeper personal knowing and interconnectedness for the nurse?

2. What are some of the implicit and/or explicit ethical concepts in your selected theory?

3. Describe an example of a situation, real or fictional, where having a deeper connection with patients affects patient care outcomes.
