Subject: Philanthropic partnership with the American Red Cross
Introduction
Global mind has slowly grown as an up and coming health insurance company. It is our mission to better the lives of as many people possible and enhance the overall health of communities. REDACTED
I will be sharing why American Red Cross is the philanthropic cause I have selected , why I think it is the best fit for Global Mind, three implementation plans, concerns, and benefits of supporting the chosen philanthropy.

Recommendation
Global Mind needs to partner with the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross is a signal of hope to the public. They believe in creating safer and healthier communities for all. Global Mind shares this belief as per our mission statement and could help positively impact more people by donating to the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross is a humanitarian network that assists victims facing disaster, armed conflict, and health crises (Editors, 2018).

Global Mind was founded on the belief of helping as many people in need as we can. From figure one and two above we can see the extreme extent of aid that is required when a disaster strikes. The American Red Cross also extends its aid efforts worldwide when disasters occur. Figure three shows the amount of aid relief the American Red Cross provided around the world reported in their fiscal 2018 report.
( Figure 3. American Red Cross, 2018)
As we can see Global Minds donations to the American Red Cross’s Annual Disaster Giving Program will be used to help aid those in need on a vast scale. Through the partnership with the Annual Disaster Giving Program Global Mind will be helping support not only the general public, but its main supporters. Such as Global Minds employees and customers. This philanthropic cause also helps enforce Global Minds mission of creating safer and healthy communities for all. REDACTED
Implementation
Global Mind will first need to partner with the American Red Cross and establish a donation line to the Annual Disaster Giving Program. Then donations to the American Red Cross’s ADGP can easily be implemented by Global Mind through three possible methods.
Alternative 1: Giving Circle
The first implementation plan option Global Mind can partake in is a giving circle
REDACTED
Alternative 2: Matching Gift Program
The second implementation plan Global Mind can partake in is matching gift program.

Alternative 3: Fixed Donation Percentage

Concerns and Benefits
By donating to the American Red Cross’s Annual Disaster Giving Program Global Mind will benefit overall as a company. Global Mind will benefit from a marketing stance that can come from partnering with this philanthropic cause. Customers prefer to consume from companies that participate in philanthropic initiatives. As in any partnership, there are concerns Global Mind must consider.
