PEERS POST:

Meeting #1: Licensing will be here to review our records to ensure that our check-in and check-out records are accurate.

   Learning Center License    Current Rosters

   Check-In Check-Out Records

Licensing will need to see our center license and what children are in our care.

Meeting #2: Liam’s parents will be in to discuss his behavior. They have been noticing that he has become quite angry at home, and they are sure that something is happening at school to warrant this behavior.

Daily Records      Anecdotal Notes      Daily Behavior Logs      Incident Report (Injury)

To prepare for any questions related to Liam's time at our center, I will review daily records, notes, behavior logs, and incident reports. The important thing to accomplish in this meeting is to listen and create some goals for a solution to the parent's concerns.

Meeting #3: Licensing will also be verifying any child injuries that have taken place in your learning environment. They have had a report from a parent stating that their child was hurt at school, and they were not notified.

Daily Behavior Logs      Incident Report (Injury)

     Learning Center License

Anytime licensing visits, the center, you should always have your current center license available for them. Daily behavior logs and incident reports are proof of any incidents related to possible injuries.

Meeting #4: The lead teacher that your students will transition to in the fall will be meeting with you to review your students. She wants to be prepared for these students. Please list the documents you need to gather in preparation for this meeting. Explain why you chose the documents you did.

Portfolios Daily Records Anecdotal Notes Daily Behavior Logs Parent Monthly Satisfaction Surveys Incident Report (Injury) Doctor's Notes Current Rosters

The more information on the children transitioning, the easier it will be to gain an understanding of them. Portfolios will give the new teachers a better take on where the children are developmentally. Daily records, notes, and behavior logs will help with behavior patterns. Parent satisfaction surveys will give an understanding of the parent’s interests. Doctor notes will give the new teachers any health information related to the children. The current rosters are a good place to find the names of the children.
