Zillow will direct you to the ratings of the schools in the area. Try and be specific as possible on which schools your children will be going to and how are said schools rated. Are these the best schools in the area? Good charts are a plus

Insurance:
Find Insurance and the different levels of coverage that comes with said insurance. Call insurance agent and ask them how much the house would cost. Ask about Flood insurance as well and include that in your paper.
Taxes:
Look up the property on one of the sites given below and list information such as parcel number, tax rate, home value, tax value, and try to find out what the neighbors paid for their house and tax baes and compare it to the house you are buying.

Finally determine how much monthly payment will be, insurance and property tax and chart using Excel or other charting program. Compare that to your yearly income and determine a small budget for the household for each month. Be reasonable with the utilities. For instances, a 1500 square foot house will require more heat and electricity then a smaller house. All costs must be justified.
