Describe the main arguments for and against the ban on Islamic garb in these two articles. 

To what extent is this an issue of freedom of religious expression? Does the Quran require women to cover their faces in public (cite passages and source)? And, to what extent is this an issue of national security?

Should religious practices, such as wearing religious garb, always yield to national security issues? Are there exceptions to your stance? Are other religious symbols such as the Jewish use of the kippa or the Sikh use of the turban subject to the same debate? Why or why not?
