The reading summary is 1 page 12pt times. Single spaced, one side of the page, no second page. No paragraphs or skipped lines. Due: Week 4 (Wed. May 27). See template and example on the Moodle (week 3) (2 documents) Guidelines: Give very brief reference to the who, what, when of the author at the beginning (artist, historian, etc. what period written and writing about…) This summary is NOT a ‘review’ about your opinion of the text. This IS a clear and concise report on the useful ideas and information in the text: IDEAS and ARGUMENTS are what you want to explain. Keep quotation to a minimum (for example for key terms the author uses). Otherwise paraphrase (put their thoughts in your words). Put page numbers for key ideas you mention (33). This will help you find those things later. Make a short evaluation/opinion of its usefulness at the end in italics (maximum 3 sentences).
