Prepare a read aloud, (select a book that is relevant to the child's interests or what you are learning, read the book ahead of time, prepare vocabulary words, questions, etc.) Have someone take a video your conducting a reading aloud with a child. Watch the video and then write a 4 page reflection about your work. Describe what happened and discuss the videos in detail. Where were you well prepared? What were your student’s reactions? Were there surprises? What would you do differently? This should be in paragraph form. Describe the big ideas for you of what happened (please do not provide a transcript of the conversation.) Please review the rubric before completing the assignment. DUE March 22.
