All in all, Facebook has made a huge impact in our life’s it has giving us the ability to communicate like never before and share special moments that before would take an eternity now we can post pictures that you can see instantly, and we can send instant messages even miles away, no need to wait for the mail or a visit.

Having Facebook has been a blessing to most families. Being able to communicate with each other, instead of waiting for weeks for the mail to arrive.

In the 1990’s The United States Postal Service used Amtrak to carry mail (16). Depending in the state that you lived in, it would be the time that you needed to wait to hear from friends and family.

In February 2004, in Cambridge, MA a platform called The Facebook was launched (“A brief history of Facebook”). Facebook crew rapidly and started joining family in ways that we wouldn’t imagine.

Communicating with faraway relatives was exhausting. Looking back at June 2003. We received a letter from an uncle that lived in Texas. The letter said, “Dear Raul, I’m happy to announce that my wife and I are expecting a new born child. Back then all of our communications would be through the United States Postal Service. After a couple of months went by we received another postal letter saying that my cousin was born. All of this communication would take weeks sometime months. However, there is a new platform that has great new features to communicate at an easier and faster pace.
