Singh Rubee is an assistant professor in human resources at the RBMI Group of Institutions, Gr Noida India. Archana Raj is an assistant professor in the Rakshpal Bahadur Management Institute (RBMI) with extensive experience in research. This article outlines the causes of youth unemployment in India based on various scenarios and suggests ways in which the issue can be addressed. This paper provides factors that leads to the increased unemployment among young people in India and therefore is not comprehensive as compared to the other source in this bibliography which focuses on the entire population. Nevertheless, the paper has provided detailed explanations on the causes of youth unemployment in India. This source is very useful in this research as it lays a foundation for other studies in the future that focuses on the increased unemployment among the youth. Without this source it would be difficult to complete my research given it comprehensive analysis on the causes of youth unemployment. Comment by Trina Ngo: I liked that you included a little background about the authors to give credibility. Comment by Gabi Augustamar: I'd suggest sharing a few of the factors that led to increased youth unemployment in India. Comment by Amoreena Tibray: This is a fantastic annotation. You talk about the authors, summarize their arguments, and say how it relates to your research. Wonderful job! Comment by Kisha Jonathan: I do believe this source is useful in being able to compare and contrast different aspects of this topic in other countries.

Synthesis Essay
What factors contributed to the current decline in the rate of unemployment?
The main aim of this research is to determine the factors that have contributed to the decline in the rate of unemployment. I believe that by understanding the main causes of unemployment, it is possible to develop strategies for reducing its current rate. Various studies show that the main factors that have led to the current rate of unemployment include high rate of population growth, poverty, and lack of proper skills, lack of capital and lack of education. This topic touches the lives of many people. My elder sister for instance acquired her first job after twelve months of searching. This shows just how difficult it has become for one to acquire a job. While the government has come up with various programs to address the issue. I still believe that more needs to be done. If the recommendations provided by the sources chosen for this research can be implemented then this could be a problem of the past. Comment by Amoreena Tibray: This sentence and your research could be more powerful if instead of saying "I believe" just stating it as fact. "By understanding the mains causes of unemployment, we can develop..." Comment by Gabi Augustamar: I appreciate this approach! I'd love to read how the causes you researched can become strategies - be specific! Comment by Gabi Augustamar: It is such a personal issue for so many people, I wonder how this leads to making solutions difficult. Comment by Marley Bray: In here, or in your actual essay you could expand how this personal detail relates to why you wanted to talk about this topic and what it means to you Comment by Trina Ngo: I really like that you included something personal because it gives us an understanding of why this topic interests you or is important to you. Comment by Amoreena Tibray: I love that you use personal experience. I think you could even elaborate on it a little bit more. Comment by Kisha Jonathan: Maybe explain what some of these programs are and if they have been successful or helpful at all. Comment by Kisha Jonathan: What recommendations do you have based on your research?
Questions for Workshop Group:
1. What other information do I need to provide beside the factors to make my paper more interesting? Comment by Amoreena Tibray: It could be beneficial to add where the sources could have improved, and maybe where the research is lacking in general (this could go in the essay part) Comment by Marley Bray: Maybe just a little bit of personal detail, for a background of the topic Comment by Gabi Augustamar: I'd love to know the "why" part, what made you interested in this topic?
2. Do any ideas or references seem irrelevant? Comment by Marley Bray: Maybe you could throw in something with a time of when it started to decline to give it a time frame. Comment by Kisha Jonathan: I think all your references are relevant, maybe just include a little more information on how these sources relate to each other or how they are personally beneficial to you and your research. Comment by Trina Ngo: No, I don't think they were relevant because they all supported your topic.
3. If you decide to use this question as a working thesis for your paper, what information will you have to give your readers to convince them that your stand is a valid one? Comment by Trina Ngo: I would include information such as statistics and the actual numbers of declining rates to show that unemployment has risen.
