Code of Conduct Violation Warning Letter
Rachel Robinson, with Student Identification number 200544128 is warned that the conduct
described below is in violation of the Strayer University Code of Student Conduct, as printed in
the Student Handbook. A copy of this letter will be kept in the student’s academic records.
Description of Violation
On May 31, 2021, it was reported that the Assignment (Ethical Responsibilities in Software
Design and Development) that you submitted in your Spring 2021 course “Computer Ethics”
(CIS324001VA016-1214-001) violated the University’s Code of Student Conduct.
Specifically, the submitted assignment was found to contain wording taken, some verbatim, from
external sources and submitted as your own without proper attribution.
These actions are in violation of the following sections of the Code of Student Conduct in the
Student Handbook:
1. Dishonesty b. Violation of the University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
This document is a Level I Warning. Further violations of the Code of Student Conduct may
result in more severe disciplinary sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension or dismissal
from the University pursuant to the student disciplinary procedures published in the Student
Handbook.
