I have attached what my professor wants, and a sample of how she wants it formatted. My topic is Educating teenage students in New York State public schools about unplanned pregnancy and abortions. 650 words.

Personal Identity
I am a 20-year-old student who wants to finish college, get degrees, secure a job, and conquer the world. Race is not something I would consider as part of my identity in any way possible.
Importance of race on perception of personal identity
Racism has nothing to do with my identity or whatever I do, how I relate to other, things we share in common. In all cases, the race is often left out and works as one person from the same family without any special consideration. It may be hard to pinpoint the importance of race to how I think about myself because I think everyone around me is unique, like myself, not based on their identity.
Significance of Racism in my life and the lives of my loved ones
I have friends from different communities and with distinct ethnic backgrounds, but we act as a team when it comes to sharing ideas. In my opinion, judging people based on their identity would be more of a psychological battle, a situation that would create segregation rather than unity among students.
Effects of racism on my personality
I was known to be a kid who likes reading to get good grades for my entire young age. Because of my identity and the school location, ‘othering’ was never a concern. I joined a school for my second level and picked the school because of diversity as the mission. As time passed, diversity was but words on the board because few students were treated otherwise than others. The fact is, racism has always existed in my life. I am not cognizant of diversity, but the idea of how people feel about others has still troubled me throughout my 20 years.
How comfortable am I discussing race and racism?
I am very confident when it comes to discussing racism. When the issue is brought, the class often falls silent because people are too afraid to stand out and air issues concerning race. Being a student with more knowledge of diversity and recognizing other identities, I feel comfortable discussing the issue.
What is a fair or acceptable level of racism?
Anything to do with racism is not fair at all. There is no level of discrimination that is fair; it is either racism or not. You cannot discriminate against people or favor others or engage in any form or racism and console yourself that it was only fair. Equity without any form of favoritism based on gender is the only reasonable thing (Johnson, 2020).
Opinion on taking a racism class for meeting university requirement
If there are university requirements demanding individuals to take classes on race and racism, it is a good idea. This is because it will instill diversity in people who still think they are superior to others or those who feel like they do not belong to some sectors and understand and value equity and not identity.
