CLASSMATE 1

1.  Explain how a leader’s sense of self-efficacy is related to that person’s ability to lead change.

Self-efficacy is the term used to define the individual quality or ability to do or make changes that are necessary for the betterment. Self-efficacy includes an individual strength to control the situation by using their ability or efficiency (Dwyer, 2019). The person's ability to make changes has a strong efficacy that affects their leadership quality to lead their team more effectively.  Strong self-awareness to do or be capable enhances the confidence level.  The confidence to do the new changes or for creativity to apply within the organization.

The person who is less aware in terms of self-efficacy has less confidence so moral support is important to do anything and that help to support your work. Less confidence also affects the leader's credibility and trust that influence their team members and badly affects the outcome of the result.

Self-efficacy is also the term used for the positive self-control that has to be in the leader to lead the team. The team member wants support from the leader and the leader’s action and trust to build the confidence of the team member (Dwyer, 2019). Self-efficacy helps the leader to set goals and make the evaluation of the success in the period of time.  To think creatively and make a plan need the confidence to do or implement and the success for that.

Self-efficacy is important to be high in the leaders to lead the team and accomplish the task by motivating their team members. The self-efficient is the first step to making the team align the task and get a beneficial outcome from your team members. In the leadership quality, the person should have the characteristic of self-efficacy that influence their leadership.

CLASSMATE 2

1. Explain how a leader’s sense of self-efficacy is related to that person’s ability to lead change.

The ability to understand and manage people is closely related to human and cultural intelligence has much to do with the general mental capacity for reasoning, problem-solving, and learning from the leader.   Someone with high self-efficacy typically focuses on achievement and accomplishment. The ability of the individual who takes up a leadership role should start with having a clear mission and imparting their vision to their followers to work together towards a common goal. Based on past experiences in an organization where multiple leaders manage their teams; each leader has a specific purpose even though there is one mission to accomplish the organization's vision. In dealing with different managers, I felt that any person in charge of managing the people who work towards a common goal must have characteristics that the follower would desire to obey and adhere to their leadership qualities. I have worked with humble and kind managers and others with rude personalities who are not approachable, making me not want to follow their lead. I had a supervisor in charge of a team, and he had great qualities that made him an effective team leader. The communication between the entire team was excellent, which led to the eventual success of accomplishing the company goals. A quality that I felt that most leaders in my experience would like to receive. Overall, a self-efficacy leader can exhibit a more influential openness to their followers to go ahead with new ideas and innovation rather than using their methods (Spoelma, 2018).

2. Describe the most charismatic leader you know.  What are the characteristics that make this person charismatic?

The most charismatic leader I know is Pastor Pierre. He is highly charismatic with a positive outlook and optimism for helping people, and his characteristics have allowed him to persist through highly challenging circumstances in his pastoral ministry. People perceive pastor Pierre as being so honest and in tune with his personality that they are willing to receive his messages with respect and appreciation. In addition, all he has ever done to achieve that is to build his charisma to reflect his personality.

One key takeaway in his ministry as a leader is having a vision - and getting others to not only believe in it but be inspired enough to take action in what they believe. He is very faithful in his ministry." "If you put yourself in his position of someone with great charisma, people have to believe that there's potential for a great outcome and believe in the leader of the ministry, and he can relate to people's situations as well as personality. I worked with other leaders in both ministry and the corporate world, and some have been supportive, and some have not been the nicest. However, Pastor Pierre is genuinely the most charismatic and transformational leader I have been around. He taught me how to work with others and deal with ministry. He is also my role model in my personal and professional life, who has guided me to achieve a lot throughout the years. The most significant thing I learned from him was how to communicate effectively, not only through words but also through my actions. People would always pay attention to him whenever he spoke, making him an excellent  leader with a great sense of humor. He would always encourage people who worked with him and support them in all their endeavors to the best of his ability.
