Objective: Using AWS S3 bucket and folders to showcase your personal portfolio (as a website)

Background information:

You applied for a job. You are invited for a virtual interview via a video chat tool, such as Skype. You are

asked to showcase your personal portfolio related to the requirements of this job position, during the

virtual interview. This quiz requires you to implement your personal portfolio as a website using AWS S3

bucket and folders.

Reference: Class Notes “Static Website”

1. Please search the web and select a job opening of your choice.

2. Please design and develop your personal portfolio related to the requirements of this job opening.

3. Please populate your personal portfolio via AWS S3 bucket and folders.

At the minimum, this web-based portfolio of yours must include:

 A landing/home page that allows the public access

 At least 3 pages/folders linked from the landing/home page  The content of these pages are to show your skills/knowledge related to the requirements of this

job opening.

 Each of these pages must be implemented via AWS S3 folder.

 At least 3 pictures  You pick the pictures, because it is your personal portfolio.

Note: You must utilize AWS S3 bucket and S3 folders to implement your web-based portfolio.

What to submit for grading?

(You need to prove that you have completed all required tasks and all tasks worked.)

Please create a file in MS Word or pdf format to include the following information:

 Brief description of the job opening selected by you  The description needs to include the job requirements.

 The URL for the landing page  If the viewer cannot click on the URL to visit your website, your solution is incorrect.  If the URL requires the viewer to sign onto AWS, your solution is incorrect.

Grading Policy: 1% means 1% of your semester grade. This assignment is worth 10% of your semester grade.

Deducted Why

10% Submitted solution has little or nothing to do with the requirements of this assignment

10% The viewer has no idea what the website is about.

10% Missed the deadline or submitted file cannot open 10% The website/portfolio is not accessible by the public

10% Submitted one or more binary files (including zip file and image file) for grading

5% Did not utilize AWS S3 bucket or folders

5% Failed to satisfy any of the requirements, such as submitted file does not show the folders from your

computer or the website does not have your name.

5% One or more errors caused by visiting your portfolio, such as a file cannot open, a link is broken, or a

picture cannot be displayed
