Students will draw a geometric graph with different angles and real life’s examples. For example, right angle can come a part of flag.

Students will talk to their partners how the geometry of different angles can help in real life and what is interest and different uses in their own culture. For example, windows usually have right angles and pyramids have acute angles.

The student understands the economic effects of World War II

Teachers will preview the new vocabularies and terms on the boards. Students will read a short, morning newspaper article about the big recession from 1929~1933.

Students can create an annotated map of different economic crises in different countries or areas.

Students will do a gallery walk which shows different pictures about different economic effect of world war II and talk to their partner about their thoughts looking after.

Students will share how economic effect of their own history and the cultural differences. Teachers can show an example first.

Earth and space

The student can identify the role of the oceans in the formation of weather systems such as hurricanes

Teachers will bulletin out the new vocabularies on the board. Students will read a short science magazine article about the formation of weather systems and how oceans play a role in it.

Students will join into groups and draw the formation of rain cycle starts from the sublimation of the ocean’s hot air to the formation of rain. And label each term correctly in the Realia made by teachers.

Students will share with their partners about their personal opinions of the role of ocean and how it relates to weather information.

Students will listen to a speech of meteorologist of the impact of the ocean on weather systems. And discuss with each other the possible way to protect the ocean.
