Remember, you should not change the meaning of the sentence. In other words, don't delete information! Instead, focus on cutting out empty language, tightening wordy constructions, and choosing more precise words. In some examples, you can just cut words. In others, you will need to change the sentence structure, combine sentences, or change some words to make it work. The first one has been done for you as an example.
