The article critique should be written in an academic tone and should use proper citation (APA) when appropriate/necessary.  This is not a string of bullet points but rather should be well organized and in paragraph format.  The idea is to discuss:

· What is/are the primary research question(s)?

· What method did they use to collect the data?

· How did they select the sample?  In your opinion, is the sample size sufficient?  Why do you think this?

· What is the 'population base' of the sample?

· What type of analyses were used within the study?

· What are some of the 'mentionable' statistics regarding the sample? [If we did not discuss the test within the context of the course then do not worry about interpreting the results of those tests.]

· What do the significant results indicate?  Did the author(s) interpret the results within the frame of their population, or did they over-reach in their generalization?

· Why should I care about the findings of the article?
