Sample Paragraph (based on Table entry):

It is widely acknowledged that there is no empirical evidence for God’s alleged intervention in the world. For example, in a survey conducted by the American Academy of Sciences, 99% of physicists surveyed indicated that there is no physical evidence for God. Yet, if God did exist we would expect there to be evidence of his intervention in the world. Such evidence might include evidence relating to miracles or evidence of answered prayer. With respect to the latter, one study (Bloggs & Bloggs, 2012) showed no experimental effect of prayer over and above a placebo effect. This result suggests that prayer does not work which, in turn, suggests that God does not exist. Of course, it might be argued that God does exist even if there is no physical evidence for his existence. Even so, it would be impossible for humans to determine the difference between a God who doesn’t exist and a God who does exist but does not intervene evidentially in the world. In other words, without physical evidence, even if God does exist demonstrating this existence is not possible. Put yet another way, without physical evidence of God’s intervention, the conclusion that God does not exist is equally (perhaps more) justified on the basis of the evidence than the proposition that God does exist.
