The answer is obvious: You can't screen a film clip in print, you can't broadcast a long article on television, the newspaper presses don't wait for weeks' worth of research for the reflective story, and it would be too expensive to send magazine subscribers a small library of books just in case they wanted deeper background information.( Nielsen, 2010). There are several news outlets that utilize web broadcasting, some of the most watched are CNN, FOX NEWS, and 60 minutes. There are five qualities of digital media that are like broadcast media which are immediacy, flexibility, permanency, capacity, and interactivity.

Of those characteristics listed above, interactivity is the most likely to have the most long-term effect on journalism; interactivity refers to the ways in which journalists and the medium can connect with the audience.( Stovall, 2014) , “Accuracy, clarity, efficiency, and precision” are the same characteristics used for writing on the web.(Stoall, 2014) One thing I've noticed about CNN and Fox news is CNN gives more credible news than Fox news I enjoy watching them both, but Fox News has been known to report news before having credible sources and facts. Regardless of whether you enjoy reading the paper for news or surfing the web, the internet is one place you can get all the news needed and pictures as well.
