QSO 600 Milestone One Guidelines and Rubric

Overview: This milestone will allow you to select an organization that you will use to complete your final project, which is the creation of an analysis of product introduction.

Prompt: For the final project in this course, you will be tasked with identifying the manufacturing requirements, product feasibility, production constraints, profitability, and overall risk associated with the introduction of a new product. In this milestone, you will identify an organization and include the reasoning for your selection. Consider factors such as risk. Additionally, consider how this organization compares to different companies within the same industry.

Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

I. Overview: Provide a concise overview of the company you have selected. Expand your analysis by including pertinent information about the company’s new product launch.

A. Justification: Justify your reasoning for selecting this company.

Guidelines for Submission: Your overview and justification must be 1 to 2 pages in length (plus a cover page and references), and must be written in APA format. Use double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Include at least one reference cited in APA format. Note that the final project will include a minimum of 10 references.
