1. Introduction
Purpose
The purpose of this report is to provide and in-depth examination into the the contributions of th cattle and sheep industry has to the Australian economy. This report will also illustrate the importance the cattle and sheep industry will have on foreign economies, specifically that of Singapore.
Scope
This study aims to provide the Australian Government enough information to proceed with correct judgement through the use of fiscal policy in order to maintain our agricultural sectors.
Data collection and analysis
The data is collected from ABS which contains the GDP of 32 sectors of the Australian economy. The data is further examined through the contributions of the output of each sector it has on other sectors. Other academic journals are referenced in this study regarding Australia’s contributions to the Singaporean economy regarding Net exports of cattle and Sheep.
