Pythagorean Theorem Pile-up Project
(Due Wednesday, March 24, 2021, @3:15PM)
Your goal is to create a pile-up problem similar to the problems we have solved in class. You should use the given triangle pile-up as your base.
You can add more triangles if needed.
Your pile-up problem must include the following:
▪ At least three different Pythagorean triples with at least two from different families ______ / 3 points ▪ At least one 30°-60°-90° right triangle pattern ______ / 1 point ▪ At least one 45°-45°-90° right triangle pattern ______ / 1 point ▪ Only whole or simplified radicals (No decimals!) ______ / 1 point
At some point in your pile-up, you should include given information that is:
▪ Side lengths ______ / 0.5 point ▪ Angle measures ______ / 0.5 point ▪ Partial sides ______ / 0.5 points ▪ Sides or angles marked as congruent ______ / 0.5 point ▪ Reasonable (sides that appear longer are longer) ______ / Minus 1 point if not reasonable
As you build your pile-up, remember that each triangle should have some missing
information that must be solved in order to move on to the next triangle. You should
also be sure that there is enough information given so that the triangle is solvable.

**I recommend working through your triangle pile-up multiple times to make sure
that is the case. Remember, all answers should be whole numbers or simplified
radicals, never decimals.

1. Only one person in your group needs to submit slides/work via google classroom.
**Note: Your partner will complete a review of your contributions to this project. This
can affect your final grade as I reserve the right to increase or decrease your final score
based on this review.**
