Issues in International Policy
All over the world, there are various issues which are affecting the life patterns of the people both positively and negatively. Some of these issues are taking part in parts of the world but their effects are r will be felt worldwide. To mitigate some of the effects of such issues and practices which might in one way affect the human life at large, international policies are getting structured, reviewed and implemented with an aim of ensuring quality life. However, besides the well-structured and implemented policies, there are still challenges which are getting evident on each day placing a red alert to the globe.

It is agreeable that a threat to human life at one part of the world is a threat to the whole humanity regardless of the threat intensities. One of the major international police is on national security. All over the globe, human life is put under risk by different individuals who are out to engage in activities that interfere with peace and harmony of the world affecting the quality of life. International security is a wide issue running from nuclear energy regulation and use, terrorism, humanitarian crises, migration and border security, and military practices (Baylis, Smith, & Owens, 2017). Different nations are undergoing a tragic fall such as Syria and Somalia as a result of wars emanating from unsettled disputes and conflicts. Terrorism is at its peak with the targets being any person in any Nation resulting in suicide, Mass shootings, bombing, and
killings (Kaplan, 2017). Nations such as the USA is spending heavily on equipping its military to help strengthen security practices both nationally and internationally.
Climate change has seen great loss of lives through floods and drought in different parts in the world. It is thus very necessary for the issues to be addressed (Nordhaus, 2015). The growing rift between the USA and North Korea concerning the nuclear weapons is widening even to a probable prediction of war, use of these nuclear weapons is a threat to the whole world. In Africa, there are cases of slavery and human trafficking in Libya to different parts of the world, a practice that presents a threat to human life (Van Reisen, & Estefanos, 2017). The USA is drawing strategies to stop the growing cases of illegal immigration to the country which is linked to high cases of terrorism. The building of the wall in its border with Mexico is a matter of concern (Schuck, 2018). The hell immigrants are going through in most of the countries’ borders is worth some watch.
Generally, there are many issues affecting the national security which need some detailed discussion to eliminate the rising threats. The above highlighted areas are some of the many world issues revolving around national security and posing a great challenge to the peoples’ quality of life. If these issues are left unhandled and unattended then the whole world might turn out to be an inhabitable place.
