‘All protocols observed, ladies and Gentlemen, I salute you all good morning! Indeed the beautiful rays and the bright faces you wear are a proof of a blessed day this is. I request you to clap for yourselves for the perfect grooming this morning…. Thank you for rewarding your good efforts. At this juncture, I beseech you to be very attentive to the presentation I will share regarding social security system. I know some of you might be cracking their minds trying to figure out who I am and whose authority I make this speech on social security system. Permit me to drum into your ears that this man speaking to you is a fellow student like you who has acquired the content of this speech from the department of the social security system of the United States. It is from their authority that I stand tall today to share this thesis that social security systems are beneficial for future life after retirement. Although I will support this argument in my speech progress, allow me to dangle the carrot with a preview of the points I will cover. This argument stems from the fact that humanity is always faced with uncertainties of unemployment, diseases, death, disability and old age. Social security system is the only through vehicle that helps maneuver through the muddy challenges of life. This tendency traces its roots from the traditional practices used for instance use of Olive oil. The speech will cover the rich history of social security system, how to apply for benefits, the pros and cons of delaying benefits, how to afford to live off the benefits and strategies to adopt to afford to retire.

The social security system traces its roots among the greeks from their practice of stock piling olive oils for the dire times of need. While in Europe, a feudal system was the crux of economic security. The feudal Lord became responsible to the serfs working within the estate. The symbiotic relationship was that the Lord depended on the constant recruitment of serfs while the serfs depended on the lord to provide them the opportunity to provide labor. However, in the current system of economic social security, various organizations developed formal economic social groups to protect the economic security of the members. These societies of people with same goals came together to secure their lives against any uncertainties and were provided with several financial aids.

In order to reap from the program of social security system, every member is required to contribute monthly towards the fund pool. This program however suits best the citizens who are earning some income. The enrolment for the social security provides the members the protection against the hazards of disabilities, old age, illness, maternity, death and other contingencies. In addition, the members of such societies are also promote social justice.

Dear listeners, to fully reap the benefits listed in the second point, you must learn patience until the plan matures depending on the agreed age. The pros of delaying the benefits is that you are entitled to full benefit package unlike when you take it early which warrants a penalty charge.

But in the event that you receive the benefits package, do not forget about tomorrow. Spend wisely clearing any mortgage you owe and cutting on cost as guided by a plan. For better package, it is wise to wait for the full maturity of the social security system.
