Scope
At the end of this 12-hour lesson, you will be confident in speaking in front of peers and superiors. You will explore both verbal and nonverbal skills, audience analysis techniques, and four types of military briefing. You will develop and deliver an information brief.
Enabling Learning Objective
Action: Demonstrate confidence when delivering a briefing/presentation.
Condition: As a learner, attending the BLC, using a direct level leadership perspective in new environments, given references, practical exercises and classroom discussions.
Standard: The learner will communicate messages using proper speaking techniques, clarity, confidence, and appropriate content for audience IAW 1009S, assessing speaking and presentation rubric.
