Introduction

The administration is the authority that is mandated in top management of an organization or a group of individuals. For there to be an effective administration, the leadership of the organization must be effective to ensure it meets its objective and goals. Leadership can hence be described as the possession of attribute that can be able to manage and direct the running of a group of people towards reaching of the various missions. Effective leadership will spearhead the organization in the direction that leads to prosperity, customer satisfaction and achievement of competitive advantage in the industry. Leadership Style beneficial to the Director of Health

The best kind of leadership theory that should be used in the Public Health sector is management theory. This kind of theory states that there is the reward of the individuals who have the best kind of performance while there is the punishment of individuals that do not put their best effort on the work . The reason as to why there is the need to the use of this kind of theory is to ensure there is the reduction of negative attributes such as unethical practices or even the insufficient customer care. In the view of the ethics of the employees in the organization, there is the need of the setting up of the Ombudsman office that will be equipped with the handling of the ethical matters. In this office , there is the setting up of an independence section in the organization that will seek to monitor, investigate and administer judgement on the matter that is brought before them. In this way, it ensures that due diligence and behavior change occurs to ensure individuals are on the right track towards service delivery and excellence. The monitoring of the employees’ appraisal will be the best way to use to ensure that hardworking and diligence employees are rewarded for their good job. It will kill the idea of poor service delivery. In this way, it will ensure that the best employees are able to be rewarded for their best efforts in the organization .

The best leadership style to be used in the organization, democratic and team leadership are the best . The reason as to why there is the need to the use of the democratic leadership is in order to create an environment where the employees and the management is able to communicate on the best way to spearhead the management of the organization. In this, employees are involved in the decision making of the organization. It creates an engender attribute whereby the employees feel that the success of the organization is part of their success. In this, they will be focused on ensuring that the organization is able to succeed in all measures. In the use of the team leadership, it shows on where the organization seeks to be in the future. In this way, there is the aligning of the best ways that will ensure the achievement of the set level of goals. The vision is a driving force that ensures purpose is realized and the direction taken towards the achievement of the set goals and objectives. The consideration of all this will ensure that there is a total change in the way in which operations are undertaken to ensure success in the organization.

The use of strategic leadership style can also be utilized where the organization will strategize on the future of the organization. In this way, it will lead to the idea that when the top management mean, they will have the best plan that will spearhead the organization towards service delivery. The organization that is able to strategize effectively, will mean that it is able to satisfy its clients in all aspects. The setting of the future plan will mean the laying out of all plans that will include the setting of mini goals that are to be achieved after a period of time. These mini goals will be the first way towards the realization of the bigger picture. All the players’ teamwork will be the best way as they will try to ensure that the success of the organization will be possible through collaborative partnership. Leadership Style Beneficial to the School Board

A focus at the School Board shows that the use of the participative theory as the best leadership theory to be utilized. The idea is that various individuals are involved in the carrying out the mandates in the Board. In this way, it ensures that there is the involvement of all individuals that ensure the success of the entry organization. There is the idea that all individuals will have to chip in in the decision that will be made. In the look at this situation, the School Board will have to involve the various individuals involved in the federal mandate as well as the academic leadership on the route to be taken. In this way, it ensures the total realization of success in the process. The right towards the chipping in of the decision making will be maintained by the top leadership of the management. In this way, there is the holding of relevant leadership levels that ensure that all players will feel appreciated in the organization. A focus on the leadership style to be used, autocratic and the strategic leadership will be effective. The reason as to why autocratic leadership should be involved is that it will reduce room for unnecessary consultation that will take a lot of time to make a decision. In this way, the focus of the School Board is a body mandated in the regulation of the management of the school. The setting of the relevant rules that manage the school and dictate the function of the various department. A deep negative attitude towards this leadership style is seen as it does not involve deep consultation. It will be the best way as it will reduce the time taken in the making of the crucial decision that aid in the management of the organization. The other style to be used in the strategy that involves the decision making on the consideration of a prescribed set of habit. In this, it will be the best way that delivers the best level of success in leadership and change in the various leadership attributes. Strategic thinking is involved as it seeks in the look at the best ways to solve the difficulty at the time in the best way that reduces failure. It can account to about sixty per cent of the success that an organization can achieve in the long run.

Department of Public Health and School Board Impact on the City Manager’s Leadership

The leadership from the Public Health as well as the School Board is very crucial in the leadership of the City Manager. One of the ways is that it will lead to better decision making in the entitle chain of leadership. In this way, the making of the best decision will influence the other peers in the chain. In the event whereby one of the departments makes a wrong decision, it will lead to the lower confidence of the other sectors in the making of their decision. In the event where one department makes all the right decisions, it will act as the benchmark as to where all the other department will take notes on the best way to manage the organization. Better decision making will lead to positive results in the entity management at the City M? manager’s office. People will feel that the public services are readily available to them at any time of need. The use of citizen involvement will be the best way that will ensure better service delivery in the organization. It will increase the productivity of the administration as it will be able to access more data that can lead to better management of the individuals in the chain.

I will also restore the confidence of the City Manager’s office in the making of the best decisions. I will also lead to the better skill development of the entire department. This process will be to ensure there is better service delivery in the office of the City Manager. The delivery of quality services will be the best way towards the realization of better public participation in the decision making and the public being able to give feedback on the services they receive from the department. Two Strategies to Overcome Weaknesses.

Various ways are effective in the discovery of the best way to overcome the numerous weaknesses. One of the best ways includes seeking relevant feedback. In this way, there can be the use of the suggestion box where individuals can be able to place their suggestion, complaints and recommendation. This will the best way that will ensure that people will be comfortable to air their views. There will hence be the work of the recommendation to ensure that the people will be appreciated through the following of the most relevant suggestions. All this will ensure that the organization will achieve competitive advantage above all the players in the market to ensure better service delivery, best customer service and satisfaction of the needs and wants of the organization. The other way to overcome weakness can be through the fostering of accountability. In this process, it will be to ensure that all the actions that an individual take will be accessed to determine their suitability or not. In this way, people will be driven by the idea that they will have to account for their step of action. It will act as a driver towards the best service delivery and getting it right the first time. The employees will feel a sense of ownership of the organization because the hurting of the organization will mean the hurting of their future in operating in the organization. The future of the organization will hence be centered at the development of best strategies that apply in the present as well as the future of the organization. The performance of all the team will be assessed to determine the hard workers and the individuals that have led to the slow in the realization of the organizational goals and objectives. The best way to ensure continued excellence will be the rewarding of the best employee in every year or even on the monthly basis. This way will be enough motivation for individuals to work hard towards the realization of performance excellence. The employees that underperform should also be summoned to know the cause of poor performance.

The public sector is a region that require extensive consideration of what the individuals require. A keen up to date look at the various issues that arise in the departments will be vital in the look at the various service delivery. In the situation where service delivery is poor, an extensive survey should be done in order to determine where the root source of the matter is. The summoning of all the relevant individuals will be the best way to ensure that they identify their weaknesses and work to ensure that the weaknesses will be their strengths in the long run. Ethical consideration is also one vital issue to also focus on. In a department that serves many individuals, there is the likelihood that various individuals will use money in order to bribe their way to get their services faster. In this way, the best way can be the monitoring of all the activities of the employees and ensuring that they are up to date on what will happen if they are found engaging in such activities. In this way, it will mean that individuals caught engaging in corrupt activities will be summoned by the disciplinary committee where action will be taken in order to preserve the reputation of the organization.

In a nutshell, it can be seen that the success of the organization will be centered at the best teamwork and collaboration towards the realization of organizational goals and objectives. In this way, it will ensure that some drives will influence the various decision that will amplify the performance and excellence of the organization.
