Assignment Objectives: To get you think about the role of immediate cultural practices in our psychological lives. Assignment Content:For this assignment, you will write about your experiences in changing your own cultural or situational practices.

In the paper, you will write about what you changed and what you thought about it. What happened to your cognitions, emotions, behaviours, and motivations when you altered your typical practice? What does that mean about how cultural environments might sustain our cognitions, emotions, and behaviours? In turn, what role do your own, learned cognitions, emotions, behaviours, and motivations play in sustaining, reinforcing, or creating the cultural practice you were working with?

Utilize one empirical research article to construct a thorough and insightful analysis. Your writing should be clear and concise, and your ideas should be thoughtful and well-articulated.

The paper should be approached as a formal paper, so you should have a clear thesis statement presented in your introduction that organized and structures your writing. Additionally, each paragraph should have a clear topic sentence and adequate supporting evidence and analysis.

Assignment Format: 1. Your paper should be a maximum of 850 words (2-3 pages). This word count includes all in text citations. It excludes the reference list at the end of the paper and the heading (name, date, etc.) at the top of your paper. 2. Your paper should be double-spaced with one-inch margins. 3. Use APA format in your in-text citations and references at the end.
