1. Define what Defense Mechanism.

2. Name and write about all different types of Defense Mechanisms.

3. Write in detail about ANY TWO Defense Mechanism (Define each of them and give TWO Examples) you think you use in your day to day life to defend yourself (there are 9 different defense mechanism we talk in the class).

For example:

Rationalization: You can write that you started drinking when you came to College but if anyone asks you "do you drink?" You come up with an explanation that I usually don't drink but do it sometimes when you are with your friends so it doesn't look good if I don't do it. I need to be a part of the group and so on.
