TYPE a 1-2 paragraph paper describing how information in this part of the course relates to you or helps you understand something in your life. Describe the real life situation, use terminology you have learned in class, and use correct grammar (grammar will count). For example: discuss the symptoms of a person you know who has suffered a stroke and relate those symptoms to the different hemispheres and parts of the brain that might have been damaged, discuss symptoms of someone you know (don’t use the person’s name) with Alzheimer’s disease (or depression, or Parkinson’s disease) and discuss the related neurotransmitter, discuss how you learned to be afraid of something—relate to the appropriate theory, discuss how your culture has had an impact on your development and relate to the appropriate theory, etc. Make sure you do three things: 1) discuss something in your life, 2) talk about how it relates to specific information from the course, 3) use proper grammar.
