Please follow the format instructions noted below:

IMPORTANT: The following information pertains to the 7th editions’ “Shared Writing” section located just above the Summary for each chapter; and throughout the 6th edition there are sections titled “You Are About to Learn”.

Students using the 6th edition are to do the following:

Choose 1 of the “You Are About to Learn” sections, re-type the statement(s) you are responding to and indicate what you learned based on the textbook’s interpretation and also how it relates to your world view. Each Chapter assignment is to be responded to in the same manner.

Your Chapter Summary response should look like this EXAMPLE:

· Overall, Chapter # was about…

· For the “You Are About to Learn” re-type the section (s) you have chosen to respond, state:

· What does the textbook state regarding the section(s)?

· Your thoughts - I think the section might apply to me or my life (at home, school, socially, or at work) because…. your answer.

Students using the 7th edition are to do the following:

· State what the overall, Chapter # was about…

· Re-type the “Shared Writing” question or statement and answer it; and state

· What does the textbook state regarding this section?

· Indicate your thoughts - I think this area might apply to me or my life (at home, school, socially, or at work) because…. your answer.

When there are 2 written assignments (i.e. chapter summary and journal summary) or more for the same box, please label and include the next written assignment in the same document.

So, if the assignment request that you create 2 items, there should be only one document that includes the 2 items.
