Introduction to Cultural Consideration

The organizations that provide mental health services to different types of communities need to understand the culture differences and background and the diversity and beliefs of all people. In doing this the mental health evaluators will have a better understanding and ability to accept and adapt to the cultural differences, such as cognitive, moral reasoning language and human attachments.

Attachment

When a infant is born, there is a attachment and bond an infant creates with their primary care giver (Matsumoto &Juan,2013)

Scenario: When the baby is automatically born, the nursing staff and or doctor will put the baby in the mothers chest, to develop that bond between the mother and the infant. When the baby cries or laughs, its important for the parent to respond in a timely manner to form a attachment with their child.

Cognition is the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses. How thinking still develop over time.

Chinese Languages

Chinese Languages are written with symbols. The symbols are called Chinse characters. Chinese characters represent the oldest writing system in the world.

Chinese belongs to sino-Tibetan groups of languages

Chinese languages does not have alphabets. Pinyin is a way to write Mandarin Chinese with the roman alphabet.

The most difficult part when studying Chinese language is getting your tones right and learning how to read and write Chinese characters.

Moral Reasoning

Moral Reasoning is defined as a judgement between what is right and what is wrong.. Moral reasoning is the situation in which one must make a difficult decision.
