Prompt: Liking and affiliation are common reasons why people join groups. Utilizing the information presented in this module, analyze how groups might influence members either in an automatic or a more calculated way. Draw on specific examples to illustrate your points. Consider the following questions:

 Does group membership make persuasion more or less likely? Under what conditions?
