PSY 327 Milestone One: Identify Behavioral Change Guidelines and Rubric

Overview The goal of the final project is to apply the principles of persuasion to a real-world context. You must apply course outcomes to create a changed behavior in a person that is either troublesome or to increase a behavior in a person that is positive. The purpose of Milestone One is to be sure that the topic you select is appropriate for the final project. It will also encourage you to begin working on the project sooner rather than later.

Assignment Instructions You should select an organization or cause that might have a need to apply persuasive principles to change a behavior. You should also identify the desired behavioral change that you wish to design a proposal to lead to. The proposal should be specific in highlighting exactly what you plan to try to use persuasion to do. Additionally, you should attempt to highlight some potential opportunities that can be leveraged to increase persuasions in this context, as well as some potential pitfalls that might be faced.

Format: Milestone One should follow these formatting guidelines: 1–2 pages, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins, and citations in APA format.
