PSY 323 Gender-Role Stereotypes Short Paper Rubric

Each assigned short paper provides opportunities to apply theory to practice in preparation for the final. All papers must provide a clear and succinct analysis of the topic in approximately three (3) pages, not including a title, resource page, or attachments. Submissions should be double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins, and adhere to APA citation style.

The Module Two paper must be clearly supported by evidence-based material and:

• Clearly explain what is meant by the subcategories of gender-role stereotypes that exist in our society based on your own experience or that of someone you know

• Identify one specific subcategory and analyze the influences that lead to prejudice against those in that category • Note what role you, or the person you are writing about, play in these situations and what you or the person can do differently to help decrease prejudice
