Case Study
Here you want to summarize (do not quote) the case study. Make sure to cite your summary. This section should only be 1 paragraph (5 sentences) in length, academically written and cite the case study. Look on the last page for resources on how to write academically and on APA 7 citation. The reference for the case study has already been placed in your reference list.
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
This section will be 2 academically written paragraphs in length. IN the first paragraph summarize what ADHD is. Make sure you include common symptoms and their side effects. Then discuss behaviors Charlie is exhibiting which align with ADHD behaviors. Think about that physical movement, ect.
In the second paragraph you are going to identify and explain the behaviors and/or factors which DO NOT align with the ADHD diagnosis. It is those behaviors or factors which let you know Charlie is not suffering from ADHD. In both paragraphs write academically and cite sources in both paragraphs. Cite the case study in the second paragraph as well.
Risks of Overprescribed ADHD Medication
This section will be 1-2 academically written paragraphs. Here you will use the scholarly resource you found in the Chamberlain Library to explain risks of ADHD medication use. Make sure you are explaining the risks associated with child development, misdiagnosis, and over-prescribing of stimulant medication.
Conclusion
In one paragraph discuss your role and how you would provide Charlie’s Mother with this information.
